Senior Maximo Lead Developer
We are looking for a "Senior Maximo Lead Developer" for a global automotive company in Södertälje, Stockholm.
Start is in April 2026, 12-month limited contract to begin with, possibility of extension after that.
About the Team:
The Industrial Maintenance and Shopfloor Services IT group specializes in:
Supporting global IT applications for production maintenance
Delivering scalable IT hardware solutions to company's shopfloor
The current team includes service managers, architects, analysts, data engineers, and developers. You will join the team responsible for industrial maintenance applications, overseeing development and incident management for the MAXIMO product in a senior role.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor the developer team
Engage with customers at production units and liaise with the Product Owner
Help the business describe incidents and draft requirements for suppliers
Assist the architect with detailed design decisions
Participate in development projects, ensuring high-quality delivery
Identify and resolve functional and technical issues in Maximo
Required Skills & Experience:
1. IBM Maximo / Domain Knowledge
Strong experience with IBM Maximo, preferably Maximo Application Suite (MAS) / Maximo Manage
Configuring and customizing applications, objects, domains, and workflows
Good understanding of the Maximo Business Object (MBO) Framework
Experience managing Security Groups, roles, and data restrictions
Hands-on experience with Database Configuration and Object Structures
Solid experience with the Maximo Integration Framework (MIF)
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve functional and technical Maximo issues
2. Integrations
Strong experience with Maximo Integration Framework (MIF)
Experience integrating Maximo with external systems via REST APIs, SOAP web services, and messaging platforms
Experience with Kafka or other event-streaming platforms is a plus
Familiarity with middleware solutions, such as ESB and API gateways
Key Qualities of a Maximo Lead Developer:
Strong technical knowledge of MBO Framework and MIF
Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise-level integrations
Ability to lead, guide, and mentor development teams
Strong social and communication skills, capable of collaborating with developers, architects, business stakeholders, and vendors
Structured, solution-oriented, and comfortable taking technical ownership
Location: Södertälje, Sweden (Remote possible with agreed days on site)
This is a full-time consultant position in Södertälje, Stockholm through Incluso. Start is in April 2026, 12 months limited contract to begin with, with possibility of extension after that.
