Senior Software Engineering (Robotics)
We are looking for a Senior Software Configuration Management (CM) & DevOps Engineer to join a highly experienced system team responsible for controller software development and integration.
In this role, you will work with software system integration, product packaging, build management, and common development infrastructure supporting a large software organisation. The environment is based on Visual Studio and Azure DevOps, utilising technologies and practices such as build pipelines, Git branching strategies, MSBuild, and automated testing frameworks.
You will collaborate closely with software architects, process owners, program managers, and release managers, contributing to both agile software development and cross-functional product release projects.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on and pragmatic developer with a structured mindset, strong technical expertise, and a passion for creating efficient, reliable, and well-organised development environments.
Key Responsibilities
Support and develop software configuration management and DevOps practices.
Work with software system integration, product packaging, and build processes.
Maintain and improve development infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate with software architects, release managers, and development teams.
Support agile development and product release activities across multiple domains.
Drive improvements in automation, quality, and development efficiency.
Ensure structured and sustainable ways of working within the development environment
Requirements
Strong experience in Software Configuration Management (CM) and DevOps engineering.
Experience working in Visual Studio and Azure DevOps environments.
Hands-on knowledge of building pipelines, Git branching strategies, MSBuild, and automated testing frameworks such as Google Test.
Experience with software system integration and release management.
Understanding of agile development methodologies, preferably SAFe.
Structured, analytical, and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

This is a full-time consultant position in Västerås through Incluso. Start is July 2026. It´s a one-year limited contract, with the possibility of extension. This role is 100% onsite.
