Start is in June 2026, 8-month limited contract to begin with, high possibility of extension after that.
Overview
This Project/Change Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the organizations are fully prepared to adopt new processes, technologies, and ways of working that result from major projects and transformations. This position bridges the gap between project delivery teams and business stakeholders, focusing not just on the technical or operational implementation of solutions, but on the people side of change—making certain that new initiatives are embraced, adopted, and sustained within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
• Hyper Care Assessment: Manage activities during HyperCare, coordinate and communicate between the project team and IT Maintenance.
• Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Develop and execute communication plans that keep all stakeholders informed, engaged, and aligned regarding project objectives, timelines, impacts, and benefits. Foster strong relationships with business leaders, end users, and project sponsors to ensure their needs and concerns are addressed throughout the project lifecycle.
• Change Impact Assessment: Assess the impact of the project on business processes, roles, and responsibilities. Work closely with the change management function to identify areas of potential resistance and develop strategies to mitigate risks related to people, processes, and technology.
• Training and Capability Building: Coordinate the development and delivery of training programs with the change management function to ensure staff are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to operate in the new environment. Evaluate training effectiveness and provide ongoing support as needed.
• Business Process Alignment: Analyze existing and proposed business processes to ensure alignment with the project’s objectives. Facilitate workshops and discussions to redesign processes and ensure seamless integration of changes into daily operations.
• Readiness Assessments: Lead periodic readiness assessments to probe the organization’s preparedness for change. Identify gaps and collaborate with project and business teams to develop and implement action plans to close those gaps.
• Risk and Issue Management: Proactively identify, assess, and manage risks and issues that could impact business readiness. Develop mitigation plans and ensure clear ownership and follow-through on action items.
• Transition Planning and Support: Manage detailed transition plans to ensure a smooth handover from the project team to business-as-usual operations. Provide post-implementation support and coordinate and support business hyper care activities to resolve any issues that arise during the stabilization period.
• Continuous Improvement: Gather feedback from stakeholders and analyze lessons learned to refine business readiness approaches for future projects. Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
Core Competencies and Skills
