We are looking for an Embedded Test Engineer for a global automotive company in Gothenburg.

Start is in June 2026, 3-month limited contract to begin with.

Please note that the background for this role is a parental leave and primarily the client is looking for candidates that can work during the whole assignment period.

Description of the assignment

As an engineer working with function testing within Safety Electronic you will be supporting the test engineers with script and test development for automated acceptance and system testing of Safety Restraint System (SRS). And it may also support SW acceptance testing for vehicle delivery. Since this is a short-term assignment tasks will be assigned ad hoc based on deliveries and needs during this period. Support team to maintain normal output.

Qualifications and skills required for the role

* B.Sc. Electrical or Computer Engineering or similar.

* 5 years' experience in verification of automotive environment.

* Test engineers have good knowledge of Vector tools and communication of (CAN, LIN, FlexRay).

* Experience of automotive DVMs (Design verification methods).

* Ability to drive, motivate and convince.

* Being ISTQB certified is a merit.

* Script development and programing

* Simulink req mngt& test (preferred not required)

* ISTQB certified is a merit.
