Test & Verification Engineer - Power Cutters
We are looking for a Test & Verification Engineer for a global company in Jonsered. Start is in April, 9-month limited contract to begin with.
You will primarily work with endurance testing of power cutters, including test setup, rebuilding, execution, and evaluation. You will work in close collaboration with colleagues and the R&D organization in Jonsered. The role is performed in a flexible working setup, offering opportunities to broaden your competence by contributing to testing activities in other product areas or product groups, while maintaining your main responsibility within the Power Cutter area.
Key responsibilities
Plan, perform, and assess product quality at different stages of the product development lifecycle
Provide an objective and transparent view of product status, including remaining risks and clear recommendations for next steps
Maintain and take responsibility for the endurance testing facilities, including equipment, setups, and overall test environment.
Tasks
Main tasks
Analyze specifications and product architecture to break down requirements for test planning in accordance with the V model
Perform tests, log results, and ensure accurate documentation and reporting
Analyze test results and provide clear, fact based recommendations
Improve or develop test codes to support continuous improvement of testing
Actively participate in risk assessments and planning activities
Continuously develop your competence and proactively seek support when needed
Maintain and contribute to good order, structure, and cleanliness in laboratory environments
Required skills
You have a background / genuine interest in the following
Bachelor of Science (Mechanical or Electronic)
You are fluent in both Swedish and English, both written and spoken
Good knowledge of physical aspects and being able to see connections between cause and effect.
Sees the systems from the end user perspective and has good ability and curiosity to understand how the systems are used.
Meritorious
Experience with gasoline engines and/or PLC systems
Experience in construction and/or lab work
Personal skills and attributes

This role requires fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
This is a full-time consultant position in Jonsered through Incluso. Start is in April, 9-month limited contract to begin with, with possibility of extension after that. This role is 100% onsite in Jonsered.
