We are looking for a Mechanical Designer for a global company in Lund. Start is in April, 7-month limited contract to begin with.

About the assignment: The team is responsible for identifying, planning and executing the tasks needed to reach the committed result. Your role as a mechanical designer in the team will focus on design, virtual verification and technical documentation but will also include physical verification, prototyping and administrative tasks.

Example of tasks:

· Create 3D designs in CAD

· Develop, update and release technical documentation

· Prototyping (3D print, order, modify parts)

· Interact with supplier for purchased and drawn parts

· Perform basic virtual verification activities

· Define and conclude physical tests

· Contribute to team planning and communication activities

· Perform technical root cause analysis and risk assessments

Requirement:

· University degree as Mechanical Engineer or similar.

· Some years of experience working as mechanical engineer.

· Fluent in speaking and writing in English.

Meriterious: · Experience working in machine systems with moving parts

· Experience in PTC Creo

· Knowledge in PTC Suite for virtual verification
