We are looking for a Junior HIL Engineer for a global automotive company in Gothenburg.

Start is in January 2026, 6 month's limited contract to begin with, possibility of extension after that.

The HIL solutions team is responsible for HILs (Hardware in the Loop) development, and they are experts in HIL solutions enabling cutting edge development methods. Our responsibility is to ensure that their internal customers are equipped with right tools.

What you’ll do

For this position, your main task is to create state of the art HILs together with their HIL customers. You will be responsible for developing the hardware together with a project leader. You will propose solutions as well as bring support to define needs connected to the future plans in the growing area of HIL. You will also be a member of their Software Test Center (SWTC) and work closely with our customers who are experienced engineers.

As HIL engineer you will build and maintain a wide personal network within R&D. You will be able to form your deliveries and to develop your own skills together with your colleagues. You and your skills

We see that you have an education in mechatronics/electronics bachelor or Msc.

You have good IT knowledge in general.

You also need to be fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Meritorious is experience of HIL (both HW and SW), HIL build, work experience from the automotive industry

This is a full-time consultant position in Gothenburg through Incluso. Start is January, 2026, 6 month's limited contract to begin with, with possibility of extension after that.
