Lab Engineer Programming and Robots
We are searching for a Lab Engineer Programming and Robots for a global company in Mölndal outside of Gothenburg. Start is January 12th, 7 months contract to begin with. This role is 100% onsite in Mölndal.
Laboratory engineers represent the laboratories in many perspectives, being responsible for product testing, being part of innovation projects as well as supporting our business units. This involves testing on tissue products as material and system including dispenser’s mechanics and the full product system.
In the laboratory we use UR robots and other atomized systems to support our testing and our data is analyzed and stored in LIMS.
Your role, where you will have a unique competence, is to be part of all projects and activities where programming, connection between different systems and automation will play an important part. This includes developing and maintaining both our robot methods and programs as well as equipment. You will plan, propose and perform evaluation and validation of methods and of products. You will be part of a team of many laboratory engineers with different experiences and backgrounds where you will contribute with your knowledge and expertise in the area.
What you will do
- Maintain our robots and robot methods
- Develop new or existing automation or improvement to currently automated systems
- Plan, propose and perform evaluation and laboratory testing on our products
- Present, document and report test results
- Validate systems
- Perform analyses and statistical evaluations as base for your conclusions
- Perform training in your field with the aim to increase skills and knowledge of your area in the rest of the team
- Develop, evaluate, and validate new laboratory methods to meet consumer and business needs
Who you are
- Technical degree in technical field such as Automation, computer science, Mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or similar
- Skills in programming
- Experience from laboratory work or product testing in a global setting is an advantage
- Preferably experience from working with statistical analysis and analytical programs
- Good communication and presentation skills in written reports as well as in discussions
- Written and verbal fluency in English
- Experience of Labview, lims or UR robots is an advantage
This is a full-time consultant position in Mölndal through Incluso. Start is Januaryr 12th, 7 months limited contract to begin with, with possibility of extension after that. This role is 100% onsite in Mölndal.
