We are looking for an Update Coordinator for a company in Gothenburg. Start is ASAP, 12 months limited contract to begin with.

Assignment description

This role focuses on managing and coordinating the preparation of newly built vehicles and updates of test objects across all projects and series up until the delivery to the end users. Responsibilities include creating and prioritizing work orders for vehicle and engine workshops, organizing preparation work, and supporting the workshops by providing required parts, measuring and test equipment. The role involves addressing and resolving errors in BOM or AVN specifications, ensuring corrections are made to align with project and test object requirements. Additionally, the role is responsible for handling incoming update requests, ordering certain preparation materials, and addressing any blockers that may arise in workshop operations. It requires close collaboration within the test object team and multiple workshops to ensure efficient handling of updates, preparations, and test object deliveries.

The role will include the following tasks:

• Create workorders for the vehicle workshop, both for test objects preparation work and for test objects updates, to execute the plan agreed with Test Object Leaders.

• Plan and prioritize test-vehicles preparation work, to be carried out in vehicle workshop, according to what requested in the Analysis & Verification Needs document. Provide detailed instructions to the workshop, with the Prep Process Leader support.

• Responsible for analyzing incoming Update Requests and translating them in both material and workshop orders.

• Ordering of preparation material, together with Test Object Leader.

• Responsible for coordinating updates across all test object series within a development project and maintaining oversight of test object updates.

• Support vehicle workshop with parts, measuring and test equipment (check material availability). Coordinate with material planner regarding physical handling of update material.

• Escalate possible stoppers, if any.

• Update prototype test objects in vehicles and rigs, with coordination from Test Object Leader. - Create vehicle workshop workorders to make Update Requests happening.

• Coordinate between Workshop and Pann-elen (electronics workshop) build deliveries.

• Physical handling of update material and deliver to workshops and test engineers.

• Coordinate Troubleshooting team verification after vehicles build.

• Coordinate test object deliveries to test object users.

• Meet projects deadlines, take tasks responsibility and feedback the team about their execution.

Skill requirements

Education

• High School educational qualification or its equivalent technical and planning experience.

Experience

• Test object experience is preferable. Workshop know-how, a technical and planning background is needed.

Recognition & Communication

• Recognized person in the area of test objects.

• Plans the time needed to perform the assignment and reports deviations.

• A structured, positive and energetic person, capable of create a good collaboration spirit, with all co-workers.

• Solution-oriented attitude

• Technical skills and knowledge of VCC environment is a plus.

This role requires fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.

This is a full-time consultant position in Gothenburg through Incluso. Start is ASAP, 12 months limited contract to begin with. This position is 100% onsite in Gothenburg.
