Supply Chain Manager

We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager for a global company in Västerås. This role requires fluency in English and Swedish. Start is end of October, 5 months contract to begin with.
We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead a high-performing team securing material availability from a global supplier base to the company's Robotics factory in Västerås. Your mission is to ensure a smooth production flow and high on-time delivery (OTD) to customers by driving excellence in supply planning, inventory optimization, and supplier collaboration.
You will work in a fast-paced, international, and collaborative environment with stakeholders across Sweden, China, and the US, as well as production and planning functions. The role is onsite in Västerås.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure material availability and on-time delivery from suppliers to the factory in Västerås, managing risks and resolving demand and supply deviations.
- Provide visibility of supply capacity and local supply objectives in the Sales and Operations Planning process.
- Manage and develop inventory strategies to balance availability, flexibility, and turnover.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations for imports/exports and manage transport suppliers operationally.
- Drive continuous improvement in supplier performance, planning processes, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Lead approximately 11 direct reports in Sweden and act as a second-line manager for a team in Estonia.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in purchasing, supply chain, or related fields, preferably within manufacturing.
- Management experience is a strong advantage.
- Strong analytical, result-oriented, and action-driven mindset with excellent communication skills.
- Experience in managing external business relationships and negotiations in a global context.
- Proficiency in Excel (or similar tools) and working knowledge of SAP.
- University degree in supply chain, logistics, engineering, economics, or quality is preferred.
Language: For this role it is required to be fluent in both Swedish and English.
This is a full-time consultant position in Västerås through Incluso. Start is end of October, 5 months limited contract to begin with. This role is 100% on-site in Västerås.
