We are looking for a Project Manager - Program & Portfolio lead for a company in Västerås. Start is in August, 12 months contract to begin with. 

Assignment Description:

We are looking for an experienced IS Project Manager to lead and coordinate a portfolio of IS projects and programs On-site at the client. This role is responsible for the full lifecycle management of IS initiatives – ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and aligned with agreed functional requirements and quality standards. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders as well as external partners to drive successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, lead, and manage the IS program/project portfolio in alignment with business goals.
• Ensure successful delivery of project outcomes through effective coordination of internal and external resources.
• Act as the primary point of contact for functional/business unit leadership regarding the IS portfolio and project priorities.
• Implement and promote a flexible and robust IS project execution methodology.
• Lead the PMO team and ensure governance and tracking of portfolio health.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project and program-level risks.
• Serve as the escalation point for project issues requiring resolution.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in managing complex IS/IT programs and project portfolios.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with both agile and traditional project methodologies.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams across business and technical areas.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Swedish is a merit.
• Experience working in a global, matrixed organization is a plus.
