We are looking for an SCM specialist for a company in Västerås. Start is in June, 6 months contract to begin with.

We are looking for a person to support our Operational Byers to be one step ahead of late deliveries. The market situation is clearly disturbing on time deliveries. To minimize the consequences we will add one person to our team with the task to follow up critical deliveries to come and expedite materials that our suppliers have announced to be late. The person will in many situations be the speaking partner between the purchasers and production lines to align production requirements and material deliveries.

Role & Responsibility:

• Support the implementation, maintenance and compliance of Supply Chain Management (SCM) Council approved activities. Executes assigned activities based on the standard procedures.
• Designs and implements plans for local sourcing to reach the business targets.
• Supports regional and global sourcing initiatives as required.
• When working for GBS centers, support specific assigned tasks related to sourcing, like e-sourcing activities.

This role requires fluency in both Swedish and English since it will be a lot of both telephone and e-mail communication with our suppliers both in Sweden and abroad. The sense of urgency is important and ability to be clear in communication what is needed is essential as well as finding solutions together with other functions in our factory and our suppliers to support our need.

The intention is not that the person shall travel but few trips may be initiated.

This is a full-time consultant position through Incluso in Västerås. Start is in June, 6 months contract to begin with.
