MMIC Design of RF Power Amplifier in Mobile Terminals
Huawei Gothenburg Research Center is now looking for an expert in high-efficiency power amplifier design in mobile terminal applications. As a technical expert, you are expected to technically lead and participate in the RF frontend and circuit design-related research activities. You are also expected to analyse and define requirements in related systems and products, which may require close cooperation with various stakeholders, including system design and product design.
Research on wide-band power amplifier architecture to support multi-band RF transmitters in mobile terminals.
Research on high-efficiency power amplifier architecture, including design of Envelop-Tracking power amplifier with power supply modulator, Doherty power amplifier design.
Research on load-insensitive power amplifier architecture to tolerate load variations.
Challenge solving in technology development to ensure power amplifier design meets product requirements.
Active participation in proposing, reviewing and evaluating innovative technical ideas.
MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering or equivalent background.
5+ years of experience in high-efficiency RF power amplifier design in mobile terminal applications.
Professional in MMIC circuit design and simulation tools, such as ADS, and cadence.
Expertise in the following areas:
Load-insensitive RF power amplifier design.
Envelop-Tracking power amplifier design.
Wide-band power supply modulator design.
Doherty power amplifier design.
Should be able to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team with good communication skills.
Self-motivated with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Should be able to travel to Europe and China.
