Your role as HR Manager Sweden

You manage and improve HR performance and bear responsibility for high-quality HR services. Of course you are also the HR business partner for a relevant Nordics functions in Sweden and you fulfill a strategic role in areas such as talent management, change management, individual and organizational development and the works council.

 

Your place in our organization

In this position you report directly to the HR Lead Nordics and you are responsible for leading the HR team that works for the Business, with 3 direct reports. The sites in Sweden and HR Sweden team belong to your focus area with approximately 550 employees. The direct HR support for the Sweden sites is handled by two HR Business Partners and a Site HR Specialist.

 

Main focus areas

As an HR Manager you ensure the development and implementation of DHL Supply Chain HR policies. You advise management and directors and lead HR teams in Sweden. You contribute to the development of the central HR policy and various projects. You translate the central HR policy plan and the business plan into a policy with operational goals and activities. In your role as HR Manager you often interact with the trade unions on operational matters. You will work closely with your team of HR Business Partners, as well as HR Services and HR experts within Nordics. Your location is Stockholm or Gothenburg and because of the spread of your branches you also work a lot at the different locations. You implement strategy for superior HR services and customer satisfaction. You maintain good relationships with both external and internal stakeholders in Sweden.

 

This is you

You are an HR heavyweight and with your management qualities and ambition you want to take a step towards an HR role at management level. You also have experience with change processes and re-organizations. You are target driven and a real People Manager. You have strategic thinking and experience working in a Matrix organization. You have vision, you are innovative and you dare to give direction. Thanks to your communication skills, presentation skills and experience, you know how to set up and further develop the HR organization.

 

We also value:

  • A relevant bachelor or master degree (preferably in HR or business administration)
  • Social skills such as tact, motivating and stimulating capacity, to gain support from management and employees
  • Oral and written communication skills in Swedish and English, in order to give advice and provide clear management information. Other Nordic languages are considered an advantage.
  • At least 8 years of experience in a general HR function
  • At least 4 years of managerial experience
  • HR project management experience
